About
I discovered photography at the age of 16, in the mid-70s. My first camera, the popular Canon FTB, bore the logo of the 1976 Olympic Games.
In my early days, already captivated by colors, shapes and contrasts, I was immediately tempted to explore some special effects in the darkroom. The results were sometimes spectacular, but it was rather difficult to control the effects and reproduce the same print in several copies. Today, thanks to digital processing, it's much easier for me to work with these images and obtain results that truly correspond to my perception at the time of shooting. What's more, certain software programs allow me to go even further and create impressive images through special effects and the combination of different photographs.
I'm always fascinated by images, and it's still shapes, colors and contrasts that attract my attention. Whether out in nature or in the heart of the city, I love to walk quietly and observe the play of light that modulates the different objects around me. But what's really great today is that, with all the tools available, the only limit is my imagination...
